For years, talented young Calgarians dreaming of careers as singers and dancers have left our city. Why?
This has occurred usually for one (or a combination) of three reasons:
1. Due to a lack of high-level training opportunities once they graduate from local dance studios,
2. Due to a lack of financial support once they reach the post-secondary level,
or 3. Due to a lack of professional performance opportunities and the lure of opportunities elsewhere such as Cirque du Soleil, Disney, cruise lines, Broadway, or other opportunities in New York, Vegas, Los Angeles, Toronto or Vancouver.
To retain high-level Calgary talent, high-calibre training is needed here, and The SHOW is filling that void! We expand skills, build technical expertise, and foster powerful artistic expression, and provide performance opportunities that open doors to the professional world.
The Show is dedicated to enriching Calgary’s performing arts culture, nurturing aspiring vocal and dance artists and creating compelling performances that showcase Alberta talent. We are proud of all that we have accomplished so far. Our performances and biannual productions have created meaningful engagements for over 10,000 community members who have witnessed the amazing talent of our company members.

Dazzle your clients and promote your organization by sponsoring one of our custom-crafted performance events! The SHOW is in search of one presenting sponsor per performance event, in order to offer the highest and most valuable recognition to an invested partner who aligns with our values and believes in the importance of our cause.

- An additional 20 tickets for each show during the production run
